Jan Fischer

FOUNDER /
CONCEPT & IDEA

I’ve been part of the festival and music scene for 15 years and nothing hurts me more than to feel like a whole industry is in trouble. This is my way of saying thank you for all the good years and giving the guest an insight into who is responsible with what passion for the fact that we all had and will have wonderful festival summers.

Let’s get through this thing together!

WEBDESIGN &
MARKETING

I attended my first electro festival when I was 18 years old and have been addicted ever since. Over the years I met a lot of people from the scene, with whom I am now in this difficult phase.

When Jan told me about this great idea I was immediately enthusiastic. Through my knowledge in webdesign and with WordPress I support this movement.

Let’s tackle this together and give the people in the music and event industry a voice and a face.

WEB DEVELOPMENT &
IT

Already in my early years I began to be interested in music and the industry. Starting in web-radios I have meanwhile landed as a DJ in some discotheques. I visited my first festival when I was 18 – the beach fever.

When I read about this idea, I was very convinced that this would be a cool platform. Now I bring my IT knowledge and some other nerdy stuff into the project.

The industry needs a platform – we decided to provide it! #Weareyoursummer ♥

MARKETING

Since my early childhood I have dedicated my life to guitar music. It is the constant that runs through my life, whether professionally or privately. I deal with music marketing, production, concerts and with my own band in the rehearsal room or on stage.

What I love so much is that through music we can bring people together and experience the greatest moments together – something that is missing especially in times of Corona and which I already miss painfully.

ACTIVIST

At 15 I went to a festival for the first time: The colours, the hot dusty air – paired with the beat that echoed from the stage across the meadows and people who were beaming with joy in their arms. It was love at first sight – and it stayed.

A summer without festivals and open airs, closed clubs without waving Viva con Agua flags? No!

So let’s use the time and change the world in a positive way. Let’s make it even more colourful and above all, let’s stand together by motivating all those who are suffering from the current situation in the event and culture industry. Because we are here and as soon as the club doors open and the festival bands start fluttering again, we will be hotter than ever and dance until the clouds turn purple again.

Now it’s time to say THANK YOU – to everyone who keeps giving us these awesome summers:

From bookers, to stage builders, musicians, promoters or voluntary Viva con Agua supporters – #weareyoursummer.
